Anna Rollings
Proudly, I am a native to the LCWM school district. I have been working in the district for nine years. Seven as a special education paraprofessional and starting my fourh year as the secondary art educator. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in painting and drawing. I enjoy working in many other mediums also, such as clay, photography, and mixed media. I also have a Bachelor of Art in Art History which allows me to give students a background on different project ideas and art movements. This past spring I finished my Graduate Teacher Licensure program and I am currently working on a Master of Teaching degree from MNSU, Mankato. MNSU, Mankato is my alma mater.
I love working with the sixth through twelfth grades. They bring new and exciting ideas to the art room everyday. This years classes offered are pottery, drawing, sculpture, and photography. The sixth and seventh graders will get their hands dirty in a variety of mediums during their six week explore classes. We will be creating art with clay, paint, plaster, and many other exciting mediums of art.
I live in the country within our district. My husband and I have a five year old son that is all about things that go (tractors, 4-wheelers, motorcycles, trucks, skidloaders...). We also have a daughter who turned one this August. I love to garden, camp, kayak, and just be outdoors. Nature is my inspiration for the art I create.
